First Marlin of the Season
As soon as we were out we saw a school of skipjacks. while chasing the school the skipjacks dived down. few seconds later we heard the 50pounds reel singing. a skipjack was on. while fighting the skipjack…we noted something strange. The skipjack was running away from something and trying to hide under the boat. We immediately grabe the skipjack and prepared it for live bait. We could clearly see a marlin following the boat. as we dropped the skipjack back… The marlin took it. We gave the fish some time to swallow the bait. We then hooked the fish. After a good fight the 300 pounds blue marlin was in.
